Carol

Office Manager

Carol works as the office manager for Smiles on the Boulevard. She has been working in dentistry for 26 years and has been with Dr. Hawkins for 23 years. Her role includes managing billing, coordinating insurance, phone calls, scheduling patients appointments, and daily interaction with patients.

“Dr. Hawkins treats us like royalty and values our opinions and suggestions. We have a lot of fun in our work environment because we are like family.”

She highly values respect, family, loyalty, God, honesty, and hard work ethics. Carol is people-oriented and loves getting to know the patients in a personal way. This includes talking about their family, their pets, their problems, or their successes.

“One of the reasons I love working at Smiles on the Boulevard is the outstanding care and individual treatment we give each patient.”

Carol has been married to her husband, David, for 50 years. They are the parents of 5 children, who have blessed them with 17 grandchildren. “They are the joy of our lives!” She attended Moody Bible Institute as a music major and is very active in the Gospel Baptist Church, where she is the church pianist. Giving piano lessons for 25+ years has been a side-job that has kept her busy as well.

In her free time, Carol enjoys cooking, baking, and “big family get-togethers with dinners and all the trimmings!”
