Dentist

Dr. Molly Schott has worked as an associate dentist at Smiles on the Boulevard since 2022, where she loves promoting oral health through education and treatment, restoring and repairing damaged teeth, and performing exams and evaluating X-rays. She enjoys that the office is so patient-focused, and that what is best for the patient is always the main concern. She also likes that every day and every patient in the office is different; she gets to help people in many different ways every day. Dr. Molly holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University in 2017. She also worked for three years as a dental assistant before attending dental school. Dr. Molly is a member of the ADA, ODA, and Muskingum Valley Dental Society.

“I enjoy helping people and being a dentist is a great way to do that. A dentist can help in small and large ways and I love that there is a spectrum of treatment that I get to offer to patients,” Dr. Molly says.

When not working, Dr. Molly enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, exploring new coffee and ice cream shops, spending time outdoors, and reading. She enjoys visiting the walking trails along the river with her family. Her perfect weekend would include sleeping in, drinking coffee outside and playing with her girls at a park. She grew up on her family’s beef cattle and crop farm, and is very family-oriented. Dr. Molly is driven by providing quality, compassionate care to her patients.

“So many people are nervous or uneasy about coming to the dentist and I love helping people become more comfortable in the dental chair,” Dr. Molly says.
